Fine Art

Working in media and forms as diverse as calligraphy, collage, book arts, silk painting, quilt art, and wire sculpture, my art is not easy to categorize. Sometimes I wish there were more consistency of theme or form in my work, but the reality is I just like variety! The consistency in my work lies in my deep fascination with letters and words, attention to detail (I'm a nut for it!), and continual pursuit of excellent craftsmanship.

My fine art commissions include ketubot (Jewish marriage contracts--see my site ketubahworks.com for my ketubah art), Torah mantles, calligraphed and illuminated poems, certificates, family trees, artists' books, and the list goes on. My calligraphic artworks and books have been exhibited nationally and internationally, and are in private collections around the country.
